The Swiss Army Cargo Trouser by MotivMfg x Division Road is a high-rise, single-pleated pant with a roomy and relaxed top block and thigh that tapers to a moderate hem for a perfectly balanced, modern take on mid-20th-century Swiss and German military and aeronautical utility pants, designed to be an inspirational piece in the Original Gentleman's wardrobe. This trouser is made from a limited bolt, heavyweight 18 oz. Walnut Brown Tweed Twill weave produced at the 200-year-old original Somerset mill by the world-famous Fox Brothers® using the finest 100% British Merino Wool in a worsted, suiting grade fabric engineered for the outdoors. Since 1772, Fox Brothers has produced top-tier textiles for a range of applications, including Savile Row tailoring and British Military garments. By sourcing the finest fibers from around the world and employing intensive, hand-driven milling and cording processes, they produce fabrics of the highest grade, combining comfort, density, and durability. This incredibly flexible and robust twill wool comes in a natural palette to reflect the Devon coast countryside transitioning into the Exmoor wilderness it's designed to confront. It boasts a complex cloth made from yarns dyed in chocolate, brown, and camel shades, offering a refined aesthetic and a luxuriously textured finish. Paying homage to the original with a sophisticated aesthetic, this trouser is designed with a single pleat for optimal drape and fit, featuring an adjustable waistband with an ingenious tab button front and concealed elastic back, completed with a zipped fly and top button closure. These Swiss Army Cargo Trousers are enhanced with a full lining and design-focused utilitarian pocketing, including gusseted and angled side cargo pockets, a patch back pocket with button closures, and slant front pockets for all the tools and accompaniments one needs.
