Collection: EasyMoc

After more than a decade of doing design and product development for major footwear brands, Greg Cordeiro applied his skills and experience toward revitalizing a hand-sewn moccasin workshop in its North American home. Preserving and propelling this rare production type is a cast of craft-passionate characters on the production floor with over 300 years of collective footwear-making experience. Based in Lewiston, Maine, for ten years this factory has been producing heavier, genuine handsewn moccasins that larger factories can’t achieve due to a loss of tradition. EasyMoc wraps the vamp leather fully under the foot and closes it with a moccasin seam by hand sewing the plug to the toe and kicker on the heel for a completely closed pattern with just an awl, needle, and thread. Produced in small batches and handsewn one at a time, no corners are cut and the EasyMoc formula is uncompromised—using premium full weight uppers, heavy-duty thread, and traditional supporting components—all made in the USA. Taking moccasin construction back to its original formula with double and triple vamp uppers along with Blake welted midsoles and outsoles for a re-sole-able and re-craft-able make, EasyMoc is the real deal.
