William Lockie remains one of the oldest family-run knitwear producers in the world, hand-crafting sweaters in Hawick, Scotland, since 1874. They focus on producing luxury basics that bridge old-world methods and durability with a modern sensibility and a soft hand using premium and verified wool sourcing. From a combination of frame knitting machines from the 1920s and advanced Shima Seiki looms, the ‘Lockies’ maintain handcrafting through 30 individual steps to ensure quality and tradition in each garment.
