Founded in 1931 by Ed Viberg, the Canadian company is now in its 3rd generation of being entirely family owned and operated. Ed's son, Glen Viberg, has been on the factory floor for over 40 years, working each station and ensuring quality on every run that leaves the factory. Viberg uses traditional manufacturing methods and only the best materials sourced from around the world. There are over 200 steps of production, all performed in their Victoria, B.C. facility by skilled craftspeople. The most recent generation, Brett Viberg, has reinvented fashion with heritage by combining Viberg's legacy of quality and production with modern styles and materials adapted for the contemporary market. Half designer, half shoemaker, he has ultimately created some of the most sought after styles by collectors.
