Founded in 1931 by Ed Viberg, the Canadian craftsman built a name for himself by producing some of the finest, most reputable military and logging boots. Now in its 3rd generation of being entirely family owned and operated, Glen Viberg has been on the factory floor for over 40 years, rotating through each station and finishing each boot by hand to ensure their legacy of quality on every run. Viberg uses time honored, traditional manufacturing methods and only the best materials inside and out, sourced from around the world. There are over 200 steps of production, all performed in their Victoria, B.C. facility by skilled craftspeople. The most recent generation of this legacy maker, Brett Viberg, has reinvented heritage-infused fashion by combining Viberg's institutional quality and production techniques into vintage styles adapted for the contemporary market while constantly elevating the build through sourcing. Half designer, half shoemaker, he has ultimately created some of the most sought-after styles by collectors around the globe. From procuring full weight rare hides and manipulating them into perfected and refined pattern developments in their venerable heavy-duty work boot builds, Viberg boots are designed to last for future generations.
