Viberg

Founded in 1931 by Ed Viberg, Viberg has been family owned and operated for three generations running. As a Canadian craftsman, Ed built a name for himself producing some of the finest, most reputable military and logging boots in the heritage niche. For the last 40 years, Ed’s son Glen Viberg has been on the factory floor rotating through each station and finishing each boot by hand to ensure their legacy of quality on every run. Most recently, Glen’s son Brett Viberg has reimagined heritage-based fashion by infusing Viberg's institutional quality and production techniques with vintage styles adapted for the contemporary market — ultimately creating some of the most sought-after styles by collectors around the globe. There are over 200 steps of production in a Viberg boot, all performed in their Victoria, BC facility by skilled craftspeople who implement time-honored, traditional manufacturing methods using only the best materials inside and out, sourced from around the world. By procuring full-weight hides and crafting them into refined pattern developments in their venerable heavy-duty work boot builds, Vibergs are designed to last for generations.
