Description

The White's x Division Road Brown CXL Oxford 300 is an industrial workwear shoe pattern from the Depression era, when footwear had to serve multiple purposes, from the factory floor to weekend outings. This Oxford shoe pattern features a high quarter, full counter, and bellows tongue, providing function and durability for the workshop or outdoors while remaining suitable for daily wear in a modern world. These Division Road White's are characterized by the classic Brown CXL, which is dye-struck on the top grain with a natural core that reveals the lighter color beneath, particularly in deep scuffs and high-wear areas. Chromexcel by Horween is the original pull-up leather, developed from a nearly century-old secret recipe of techniques, materials, and finishes. It is known for its flexibility, comfort, and durability. This shoe is designed in collaboration with Master Shoemaker and now CEO, Eric Kinney, to hallmark the quintessentially Northwest multi-paneled upper that allows for comprehensive rebuilds and pairs with White's exclusive stitchdown construction tradition using their unique hand-sewn and all-leather builds, all refined with our functional design approach that honors the original craftsmanship, history, and lifetime durability with a fresh perspective. This Oxford features an unstructured toe box, providing a low-profile form to the popular Arch-Ease 55 Last. Known for its trademark support and more approachable break-in, it boasts an elegant, classic round toe shape with an accommodating forefoot and moderate volume, making it suitable for a wide variety of feet. We have exclusively enhanced White's hand-sewn welted methods with a tonally corresponding Natural CXL welt to match the natural finished leather midsole and half-slip atop a Vibram 2060 industrial walking sole, for all-purpose trekking comfort. This is combined with a single row, hand-sewn stitchdown, allowing for greater flexibility and a clean aesthetic for the long haul. Finally, this exclusive Oxford is refined with tonal heavy-duty upper thread, brass eyelets, a custom White's tongue stamp, and a WB x DR collaboration insole stamp. Made as a hallmark of White's unaltered, hand-sewn traditions and customized to Division Road specifications, this Oxford 300 has a polished aesthetic for urban environs and is built for all outdoor conditions.

    Notes

This is a hand-sewn, hand-welted stitchdown workwear boot made to withstand a lifetime in challenging conditions, with a focus on durability first. Irregularity is indicative of this rare boot-making process, and as such, each pair is unique. We suggest our customers embrace the character, hand-grade details, and variation of this footwear, as that is what makes it special. This product is not for those seeking a highly refined or lighter-weight build. For more information on White's production, see our White's Factory Tour.

    Sizing

White's sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers, and the 55 Last typically is equal to a Viberg or Tricker's for most feet. Generally, when sizing for White's, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance. Please feel free to Contact Us for assistance.

Our Sizing Guide provides brand-specific Sizing and Last information. For comprehensive information on our footwear, including how this product type should fit, sizing, and Last details for all brands, consult our Footwear Guide.

The White’s legacy began in 1853 when Edward White created a solo boot making venture in pre-Civil War Connecticut shoeing loggers and soldiers. In 1910, John’s son Otto grew the family business into the White Shoe Company based in Spokane, Washington. The White family built a reputation for producing...
