Collaborations and Releases with White’s, The Fields, and Merz b. Schwanen x Dehen 1920
This week, as we lead up to our big event, we have a tight release of collaborations and provisions centered on the idea of taste. The pursuit of good taste is as old as the written word. While some of it may be innate, gathering information and knowledge through experience and exposure will refine the palate over time. It’s wise to trust those who authentically demonstrate discernment in the things they make, wear, collect, and surround themselves with; advice is best taken from those whose taste has been proven in practice. For this focused release, we bring you two exquisite White’s x Division Road MPM1 make-ups, a special collaboration project from Merz b. Schwanen and Dehen 1920, and our 2026 vintage of The Fields Honey, one of the most crowd-pleasing things we have been honored to facilitate and produce. From a spoonful of nature’s nectar in the morning to traversing stormy weather and a lifetime of traveling in well-worn boots, here is a collection of verified good taste.
White’s x Division Road
Two new MPM1 collaborations join the Division Road line-up with Greener Pastures CXL and British Tan CXL from Horween. In our signature configuration, these make-ups combine a sleek dress-officer form with on-duty functionality, using Chromexcel’s trademark pull-up, flexibility, and durability to create refined boots built for regular wear. The MPM1 pattern brings a clean military-dress character through its single continuous counter, balanced by our corresponding triple-stitched cap toe for a reinforced sense of proportion. Lasted in an E width, both MPM1s share oxidized eyelets, corresponding hand-welts to leather midsole finishes, single-row stitchdown construction, and Vibram 430 Mini Lug soles, creating a commanding, function-forward casual persona applied to a dress shape.
The British Tan CXL MPM1 is for those seeking a rich, no-fail daily style with enough distinction to elevate the staple. Paired with a Natural CXL welt and a natural leather midsole, this make-up will patina through layered shades of honey brown and golden undertones, making it a sophisticated workhorse for those who dress with subtle confidence. It is the boot for denim, tailored wool, canvas, or cords alike, equally at home in the showroom, city, or field when the aim is to look effortlessly composed and reliable.
The Greener Pastures CXL MPM1 is the more adventurous counterpart, configured for those who understand that uncommon colors often become the most versatile when executed well. This deep forest Chromexcel with brown undertones is grounded by a Brown CXL welt and a leather midsole finish, for an MPM1 that reads refined, rare, and slightly subversive, with everyday practicality. It is the boot for the collector, with a distinctive palette that works with indigo, olive, black, charcoal, and earth tones, while bringing just enough attitude to reflect refined taste without playing it safe.
Merz b. Schwanen x Dehen 1920
Coming from two of our favorite brands, the Merz b. Schwanen x Dehen 1920 Pilot Jacket is a unique collaboration project that unites two makers with uncannily aligned origin stories: family-run, over a century old, and committed to craft that values heritage over trend. From Berlin to Portland, each brand operates among analog machines that straddle past and present, where old equipment is not a museum piece but the living means of production. In the Swabian Alb, Merz loopwheelers hum through slow revolutions; in Portland, Dehen has been producing heavyweight garments since 1920, guided by the same conviction that the best things are built slowly, with skill, on machines with memory.
This vintage-inspired flight bomber brings ethos, style, and material together in a 12 oz. Herringbone Twill, milled and dry-waxed by Scotland’s Halley Stevensons® for weather resistance and a personalized patina through wear. The classic fit is driven by function, with a clean raglan-sleeve form, then elevated with tonal craftsmanship, including a worsted-wool ribbed high-neck stand collar, hem, and cuffs, knit in-house by Dehen. A matte black two-way aluminum zipper and black-on-black Merz x Dehen chainstitch embroidery on the interior storm placket keep the exterior refined and understated, while the Japanese rayon lining and collaboration patch reference Merz’s signature blue on the inside. It is a jacket built for those who appreciate structural integrity for rough weather, polished design for daily wear, and goods made to be heirlooms.
The Fields x Division Road
The flagship product from The Fields and our rewilding endeavor is our honey. The on-site apiary, located at the entrance to 10 acres of native wildflower meadows, is tended by one of the state’s twelve Master Beekeepers. Our hives are among the very few truly wildflower-fed in the region and have not relied on any supplemental feed over their lifespan. A dry, cold early spring pushed worker bees toward the forest, followed by periodic heavy storms that produced abundant wildflower pollen and foliage growth. This year’s conditions created a beautiful annual yield shaped directly by the land. The 2026 vintage has a rich, copper-toned amber color and a complex profile that bridges herbal, floral, earthy, and spicy notes, with a deep dried-fig and dark caramel malt finish.
Packed with the character of Tulip Poplar, Black Locust, Blackberry, Coneflower, Mountain Mint, Woodland Honeydew, Willow, Penstemon, Black-eyed Susan, Aster, Redbud, Sunflower, and Dandelion, this raw, unfiltered honey is a true expression of place. As always, we leave more than enough of the bees’ gathered food for them to weather winter, stay healthy, and, at times, grow a little lazy from their abundant grounds. Nutrient-rich, delicious, and as close to the land as a daily ritual can get, The Fields Honey should become part of your routine as a transportive taste of something good, wild, and real. It is nature’s provision, stewarded with care, harvested with restraint, and offered as another expression of good taste in its most literal form.
