Collaborations with Freenote Cloth and White’s
This week, we have a tight release focused on limited-edition collaborations with White’s and Freenote, highlighting enhanced Western workwear made by some of the top specialists in the country. In anticipation of our FW25 Residency, we present two Midway shirt jackets crafted from one of Freenote’s most unique fabric developments. White’s continues to deliver hand-welted excellence with the rare Oxford in our exclusive configurations. Fall is officially here, so stock up for the season and beyond with unique wares made with soul, pride, and durability.
White’s x Division Road
One of the rare offerings from the White’s bootmaker factory is their Oxford shoes. Made like a boot with the same components, the Oxford 300 is a Depression-era style shoe cut down from a boot pattern for factory workers to provide industrial protection with greater mobility. Our Oxford 300 collaborations enhance that adaptation with improved specs and industrial wedge soles suited for modern lifestyles and versatile styling.
We have the Horween Brown CXL Oxford 300 reimagined from our archives with a classic configuration for those seeking a daily chunky shoe-boot. The brown dye-struck grain will expose the natural (tea-core) undyed leather underneath, creating a sophisticated patina in this popular multi-purpose tannage recipe. The all-purpose 55 Last offers an accommodating fit and a well-proportioned round-toe work boot shape. Finished with tonal upper stitching, brass eyelets, a Natural CXL hand-welt, and a natural leather midsole, it sits atop the sand Vibram 2060 industrial sport sole for color coordination that provides a refined casual aesthetic.
To flip the script, we have the Horween Dark Brown Waxed Flesh LTT Oxford 300, a rugged, brown and black tonal make-up designed to highlight the nuances resulting from hard wear. The C461 Last comes in a D width to better match the shoe pattern and features a sprung, unstructured toe that offers a vintage-inspired, directional appearance to a modern design. This ultra-dark espresso brown batch of Waxed Flesh is complemented by a Black CXL bellows tongue and hand welt, a black-stained leather midsole, a black Vibram 4014 Christy sole, and is finished with heavy-duty black upper thread that reveals the palette coordination only as the dyed roughout kicks up with the natural-colored nap underneath.
Freenote Cloth x Division Road
From its debut, the Midway was a project we aimed to make our mark on right away. Similarly, when the Indigo yarn-dyed Herringbone Dobby cloth was released several years ago, we absolutely loved it and mentally reserved it for just the right exclusive piece. Since that fabric is produced only once a year, patience was key. For the 2025 release, Freenote asked the Japanese mill to create a Navy & Indigo version of this unique fabric, and we doubled down on these collaboration Midway shirt-jackets that reinforce Freenote’s Western workwear identity.
Using a jacquard-style loom, the industrial-era-inspired stripe is woven with indigo yarns into a herringbone pattern, giving patina power to a textured, patterned cloth. The brown and navy fields use pigment-dyed yarns that will develop over time with the indigo. These Midways feature military collar, pocket, cuff, and hem details, complemented by genuine Italian horn buttons and felled chainstitched seams, showcasing craftsmanship that reflects the dutiful inspiration. These pieces blend factory, military, and cowboy influences for a style that pairs well with both avant-garde and vintage wardrobes.
Completing the ensemble is the Riders Jacket, crafted from the signature 10 oz. Martexin® Original Waxed Army Duck Canvas. It serves as an excellent go-to outerwear piece for any quality and style enthusiast, and will break in rather than break down. The Belford makes its final return in the last restock, made from 17 oz. Slub Selvedge Denim, which is exclusively produced for Freenote by Yoshiwa Mills. Featuring the ever-popular straight-tapered fit, this denim is loomed at moderate tension with an irregular yarn designed for quick fading potential and a soft hand that will maintain a structured drape.
