Description

The White's x Division Road C.F. Stead Stone Rambler 350 Springdale HSC is a 6" exclusive hand-sewn stitchdown pattern that pays homage to the company's workboot heritage in a modern design that offers a more versatile, medium-weight construction suitable for both work and contemporary lifestyle applications. This Springdale features a plain toe, stitched-in counter pocket, and backstay for a clean composition that ensures daily duty from the office to the outdoors. This White's collaboration utilizes a Division Road sourced Stone Rambler produced by the renowned C.F. Stead, known for making some of the finest leathers in the world. The Rambler is an aniline-dyed, combination re-tannage using hand-selected, full-weight steer butt hides that have been air-dried for a tightened shrunken grain. This tannage is finished on the roughout flesh side with a hardened wax, resulting in a one-of-a-kind leather out of the box that is hyper-durable enough to withstand the harshest conditions while developing a rich patina. This boot was designed in collaboration with Master Shoemaker and current CEO Eric Kinney to highlight the quintessentially Northwest stitchdown construction tradition, employing White's unique hand-sewn and all-leather builds with our functional design approach that honors the original craftsmanship, history, and lifetime durability from a fresh perspective. This Springdale uses the archival C461 Last in an accommodating E width for a comfortable fit across various foot shapes. This vintage work boot Last features an upturned sprung toe with a moderate profile and width, along with trademark mid-heel height Arch-Ease support, yielding a sophisticated logger aesthetic in a fully functional boot. We exclusively enhanced White's hand-sewn welted methods with a tonally corresponding Natural CXL welt to complement the natural-finished leather midsole and block-logger heel, which has a slight sculpt that emphasizes their unique approach to making lifetime work boots. A multi-paneled upper allows for comprehensive rebuilds, and the low-profile Half Comp split sole configuration offers high traction and longevity across diverse terrains, combined with a single-row hand-sewn stitchdown for increased flexibility, comfort, and a clean aesthetic for the long haul. Finally, this exclusive Springdale comes with a full vegetable-tanned leather lining, a half-bellows tongue, oxidized eyelets, and a custom White's collar stamp, alongside the WB x DR collaboration insole stamp, adding refined elements to a rugged make. Made as a hallmark of White's unaltered hand-sewn traditions and customized to Division Road specifications, this 350 Springdale HSC has a polished aesthetic for urban environments, built to endure all outdoor conditions.

    Notes

This is a hand-sewn, hand-welted stitchdown workwear boot made to withstand a lifetime in challenging conditions, with a focus on durability first. Irregularity is indicative of this rare boot-making process, and as such, each pair is unique. We suggest our customers embrace the character, hand-grade details, and variation of this footwear, as that is what makes it special. This product is not for those seeking a highly refined or lighter-weight build. For more information on White's production, see our White's Factory Tour.

    Sizing

White's sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers, and the C461 Last typically is equal to a White's 55 Last, Viberg, or Tricker's for most feet. Generally, when sizing for White's, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance. Please feel free to Contact Us for assistance.

Our Sizing Guide provides brand-specific Sizing and Last information. For comprehensive information on our footwear, how this product type should fit, and Sizing and Last information on all brands, consult our Footwear Guide.

    Collection: White's

The White’s legacy began in 1853 when Edward White created a solo boot making venture in pre-Civil War Connecticut shoeing loggers and soldiers. In 1910, John’s son Otto grew the family business into the White Shoe Company based in Spokane, Washington. The White family built a reputation for producing...
