Description

The White's x Division Road Olive Waxed Flesh Semi-Dress Chukka HSC is an exclusive hand-sewn, stitchdown pattern that pays homage to the late WWII Desert Boot in a modern design that offers a versatile, medium-weight construction suitable for both work and contemporary lifestyle applications. This Chukka features a two-piece pattern with a stitched-in counter pocket borrowed from the Semi-Dress, completed with a backstay for a clean composition that will handle daily duty, from the office to outdoor excursions. These Division Road White's are characterized by the dutiful Olive Waxed Flesh produced by Horween in a similar process to Chromexcel. Using a wax application during the tanning process on the roughout side of Natural CXL yields a leather with water-resistant properties designed to patina by revealing the sand-colored nap of the flesh side over prolonged use. Designed in collaboration with Master Shoemaker and current CEO Eric Kinney, this Chukka boot celebrates the quintessential Northwest stitchdown construction tradition. It features White's signature hand-sewn, all-leather builds, complemented by our functional design approach that preserves the original craftsmanship, history, and lifetime durability with a fresh perspective. The open collar design of this Chukka is complemented by the Northwest Last in a D width for a gripped fit with moderate volume, and a classic, elegant round toe shape that accommodates a wide variety of feet. A lower heel, equipped with the trademark Arch-Ease leather shank support, offers a more approachable break-in for this fully functional style. We have exclusively enhanced White's hand-sewn welted methods with a tonally corresponding Natural CXL welt that matches the natural-finished leather midsole atop a Vibram 2060 industrial walking sole for all-purpose trekking comfort. This is combined with full hand-sewn stitchdown construction to ensure stability and a traditional aesthetic for the long haul. Finally, this exclusive Chukka boot is reinforced with heavy-duty natural upper thread to correspond to future patina, and is finished with brass eyelets, a custom White's collar stamp, and a WB x DR collaboration insole stamp. Crafted as a tribute to White's traditional, hand-sewn craftsmanship and tailored to Division Road specifications, this Semi-Dress Chukka presents a polished look suitable for urban settings and is engineered to perform across all outdoor conditions.

    Notes

This is a hand-sewn, hand-welted stitchdown workwear boot made to withstand a lifetime in challenging conditions, with a focus on durability first. Irregularity is indicative of this rare boot-making process, and as such, each pair is unique. We suggest our customers embrace the character, hand-grade details, and variation of this footwear, as that is what makes it special. This product is not for those seeking a highly refined or lighter-weight build. For more information on White's production, see our White's Factory Tour.

    Sizing

White's sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers and the Northwest Last typically is equal to a White's 55 Last, Viberg or Tricker's for most feet. Generally, when sizing for White's, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance. Please feel free to Contact Us for assistance.

Our Sizing Guide provides brand-specific Sizing and Last information. For comprehensive information on our footwear, including how this product type should fit, sizing, and Last details for all brands, consult our Footwear Guide.

In 1910, John’s son Otto grew the family business into the White Shoe Company based in Spokane, Washington. The White family built a reputation for producing...
