Description

The White's x Division Road CF Stead Bronze Brown Rambler 350 Cutter is a 6" Lace-to-Toe pattern inspired by original toe lace logger boots debuted by Otto White in the 1920s that were popular with workmen due to greater accuracy in adjusting fit based on the conditions of use, foot swelling, or injury. This White's collaboration utilizes a Division Road sourced Bronze Brown Rambler produced by the storied C.F. Stead, known for making some of the finest leathers in the world. The Rambler is an aniline dyed, combination re-tannage using hand-selected full-weight steer butt hides that have been air dried for a tightened shrunken grain. This tannage is finished on the roughout flesh side with a hardened wax to produce a leather that has an immense one-of-a-kind nature out of the box and is hyper-durable to handle the worst conditions while developing a rich patina. This boot is designed in collaboration with Master Shoemaker and now CEO Eric Kinney to hallmark the quintessentially Northwest stitchdown construction tradition using White's unique hand-sewn and all-leather builds with our functional design approach to honor original craftsmanship, history, and lifetime durability with a fresh perspective. This LTT Cutter uses the popular Arch-Ease 55 Last, known for providing trademark support with a more approachable break-in and an elegantly classic, round toe shape with an accommodating forefoot and moderate profile that matches a wide variety of feet. We exclusively enhanced White's hand-sewn welted methods with a tonally corresponding Natural CXL welt to match the natural finished leather midsole and block-logger heel with a slight sculpt that emphasizes their unique approach to making lifetime work boots. A multi-paneled upper allows for comprehensive rebuilds, and the low-profile Vibram 430 Mini Lug Sole provides high traction and longevity for all terrains, which, combined with a single-row hand-sewn stitchdown, allows for greater flexibility, comfort, and a clean aesthetic for the long-haul. Finally, this Cutter comes with a full vegetable-tanned leather lining, an outdoor-purposed fully gusseted tongue, oxidized eyelets, and a leather pull loop finished with a custom White's collar stamp and WB x DR collaboration insole stamp. Made as a hallmark of White's unaltered, hand-sewn traditions and customized to Division Road specifications, this 350 Lace-to-Toe Cutter is built for the woods in a polished aesthetic suitable for urban environments.

    Notes

This is a hand-sewn, hand-welted stitchdown workwear boot made to withstand a lifetime in challenging conditions, with a focus on durability first. Irregularity is indicative of this rare boot-making process, and as such, each pair is unique. We suggest our customers embrace the character, hand-grade details, and variation of this footwear, as that is what makes it special. This product is not for those seeking a highly refined or lighter-weight build. For more information on White's production, see our White's Factory Tour.

    Sizing

White's sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers, and the 55 Last typically is equal to Viberg or Tricker's for most feet. Generally, when sizing for White's, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance. Please feel free to Contact Us for assistance.

Our Sizing Guide provides brand-specific Sizing and Last information. For comprehensive information on our footwear, how this product type should fit, and Sizing and Last information on all brands, consult our Footwear Guide.

    Collection: White's

The White’s legacy began in 1853 when Edward White created a solo boot making venture in pre-Civil War Connecticut shoeing loggers and soldiers. His son, John, briefly took his master craft to the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia in 1880 before relocating the business in 1900 to the Pacific Northwest where it remains today. In 1910, John’s son Otto grew the family business into the White Shoe Company based in Spokane, Washington. The White family built a reputation for producing...
