This piece is derived from 1950 French military jackets, re-created in an anatomical fit with an articulated shoulder and set-in sleeves to provide a sophisticated drape in a cut perfectly balanced between vintage and contemporary. This piece is produced in a luxurious, textured, rich Brown 10 oz. Irish Linen Broadcloth that is one of the finest suiting grade 100% Linen cloths in the world, revered by designers for its durability, structure, and featherweight feel. This dutiful Linen is produced by Ireland's prized Spence Bryson® mill, established in 1891 and remaining the gold standard, using only the highest quality flax fibers and traditional wet spinning methods to yield refined, high-density yarns for warm weather tailoring fabrics that will patina gracefully and evolve to match the shape of the wearer. This French F-2 Fatigue Jacket is designed with a concealed rolling button front placket with a button-up notched collar to allow for outerwear versatility, function, and style in an unlined and finely finished structural piece with cotton twill trimming on the yoke and pockets.
