Description

The Tricker's x Division Road Super Bourton Derby Shoe is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using Tempesti's premium Ambra and Cuoio Elbamatt Liscio leather for the upper, paired with a Vibram Morflex Christy sole to create a new classic. This Division Road exclusive style features a two-tone design, with the wing and counter in Cuoio Elbamatt and Ambra Elbamatt on the vamp and quarter. One of their famous articles, Elbamatt Liscio, is vegetable tanned in Italy by Tempesti Tannery using hand-selected cow butts for a tight and pliable grain. Using a signature recipe of vegetable tannins in their trademark environmentally friendly processes, including aniline drum dyeing and hand stuffing with natural greases, the leather is left with a crust finish that preserves the unique character of the hides, allowing an unmatched, rich patina to develop. This tonal, natural, golden-brown veg-tan canvas has been hand-burnished at the Tricker's factory to replicate a fine antique that will improve with years of wear. The Bourton Derby is one of Tricker's original brogue derby shoes, featuring the signature wingtip design with refined brogue and punching details throughout. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. This Bourton Brogue Derby's more robust silhouette is achieved by using the 4497s Last, which creates a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. Completing the warm, tonal design are brass eyelets and a brown leather storm welt atop the featherweight, European-made brown Vibram Morflex Christy sole, creating a classic boardroom-to-blacktop-focused super shoe that combines hand-grade build quality with a modern streetwear form. As England's oldest shoemaker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot, and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.

Founded in 1829 by Joseph Tricker, Tricker’s is the longest established shoemaker in England approaching 200 years of quality footwear production and is recognized as the maker of choice for heavy country boots. Joseph Tricker’s son-in-law, Walter James Barltrop, created the first model of the now famous waterproof country boot in 1848, when he was just seven years old. Barltrop propelled a second key innovation at Tricker’s when he introduced the Goodyear Welting machine at the turn of the 20th...
