Description

The Tricker's x Division Road Badalassi Cognac Pueblo Daniel Tramping Shoe is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium Badalassi Carlo hard-wearing full-weight leather upper paired with a Vibram 2060 sport sole. This Division Road exclusive style uses hand-selected cow shoulders with a clean and firm grain, which are vegetable-tanned in Italy by Badalassi Carlo Tannery. Their new enhanced recipe, Pueblo Vachetta, utilizes vegetable tannins and bark extracts for environmentally friendly tanning. It is a full-aniline, drum-dyed, and hand-stuffed leather with an exclusive Italian fat wax ingredient, which is then hand-glazed on the grain. This unique vegetable tannage is left in a natural crust state, allowing the waxes to self-burnish through wear, resulting in an unmatched, rich patina with tonal color changes as the finish evolves from the original matte to a semi-gloss in areas of wear. The Daniel Tramping Shoe is one of Tricker's classic derby styles, inspired by a blucher with a two-piece upper, yielding a clean, smart-casual style in which the hearty build and leather character are of primary focus. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. This Daniel Tramping Shoe's more robust silhouette is achieved with the 4497s Last, creating a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a classic boardroom-to-boondocks-focused shoe that combines country footwear build-quality with a contemporary form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With a tonal configuration of French binding, tan eyelets, and a natural leather Barbour storm welt atop a US-made Vibram 2060 industrial walking sole, this shoe takes a British classic to refined heights while serving as a solid base for any ensemble. As England's oldest shoemaker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot, and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.

    Collection: Tricker's

Founded in 1829 by Joseph Tricker, Tricker’s is the longest established shoemaker in England approaching 200 years of quality footwear production and is recognized as the maker of choice for heavy country boots. Joseph Tricker’s son-in-law, Walter James Barltrop, created the first model of the now famous waterproof country boot in 1848, when he was just seven years old. Barltrop propelled a second key innovation at Tricker’s when he introduced the Goodyear Welting machine at the turn of the 20th...
