Tricker’s x Division Road Collaborations and Releases from S.N.S. Herning and Momotaro
This week, we have a release for the modern styler, one still driven by quality and provenance, but looking for cleanly designed pieces that reflect contemporary luxury over old-world aesthetics. Our famed Tricker’s x Division Road Super Monkey Boot returns in a refreshed edition using Badalassi Carlo’s Minerva Vachetta, with two distinctive make-ups we have long anticipated putting into rotation to develop distinct character through serious wear.
S.N.S. Herning brings further developments in mélange yarns and engineered knitwear, while Momotaro presents elevated staples in Suvin Cotton, exclusive Cotton-Silk Denim, and a new generation of core jeans. Across these makers, traditional craftsmanship serves modern design rather than historical reproduction alone, with material development, refined detailing, and updated forms bringing heritage standards into a new stylistic register. From city streets to wherever the day leads, this assembly demonstrates how authentic craft and contemporary luxury can coexist in goods designed for daily duty.
Tricker’s x Division Road Badalassi Super Monkey Boots
Since we introduced our Super Monkey Boot collaboration six years ago, it has remained one of our favorite styles to wear at Division Road. Drawing on the iconic Monkey Boot associated with British mod culture of the 1960s and the era’s athletic footwear, our version remains one of the finest sneaker-boots available, blending vintage spirit with a contemporary attitude. Properly welted and resoleable, the Super Monkey offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional sneakers, designed for those seeking an authentically crafted foundation that moves from casual streetwear to more considered ensembles. For this edition, we have maintained our exclusive hand-cut pattern, lighter-weight build, and natural leather flexi-welt configuration while introducing rare material developments and contrasting personalities.
Starting with one of Badalassi Carlo’s most celebrated articles, Minerva Vachetta is fully vegetable-tanned in Italy using traditional tannins derived from wood and bark extracts. Made from hand-selected, full-weight cowhide shoulders, this leather is infused with a proprietary blend of animal fats, drum-aniline dyed, and left with a natural, unfinished matte grain that burnishes and develops a brilliant depth of color and luster through friction and wear. For the patina warrior, the Bone Minerva features undyed leather that will evolve dramatically from its pristine natural state into shades of honey, caramel, and warm chestnut, with each change dictated by the wearer’s journey. The Nero & Bone edition takes a more directional approach, combining a matte black upper with a contrasting natural tongue and toe that wraps into the welt, grounded by a Black Vibram Morflex sole for a modern, deconstructed aesthetic that bridges minimalist luxury and archival sportswear.
Both make-ups feature vintage-white upper stitching, coordinated with the laces and welt thread, reinforcing the sneaker-boot design and its references to classic street and sportswear. Our signature specifications remain, including the natural leather reverse flexi-welt with corresponding stitching through the upper and outsole, small brass eyelets, the exclusive 5402 Last, and lightweight Vibram Morflex soles in Off-White for Bone and Black for Nero & Bone. Whether you are a seasoned captain collector with several editions or a recruit to the Super Monkey Army, these limited collaborations demonstrate how an old-world shoemaker, with some Division Road direction, can deliver modern street-style grails with uncommon material quality, styling range, and an exceptional patina journey ahead.
S.N.S. Herning
With each seasonal release, S.N.S. Herning continues to evolve its inherited knitting formulas through progressive engineering, increasingly complex yarn developments, and architectural forms rooted in Denmark’s utilitarian knitwear traditions. The Stark III Cardigan returns in Gneiss Grey, bringing the brand’s signature dimensional textures into a versatile layering piece with an understated geological palette and a contemporary fit. The Given III Crewneck further explores the intersection of knit structure and color through a sophisticated multi-patterned construction, offered in Gneiss Grey with horizontal texture and tonal variation, and a contrasting Magnetite Black and Gneiss Grey stripe that adds graphic depth without sacrificing restraint.
Debuting alongside these established forms is the Stamina Half Placket Henley, a new interpretation of nautical undergarments originally produced by S.N.S. Herning in the 1950s. Crafted from lightweight 12-gauge Merino Wool in a 2 x 1 needle-back rib knit, the Stamina features a vertically textured body, a hand-linked four-button placket, and a carefully transitioned ribbed finish for an anatomical shape that delivers exceptional comfort and layering utility. Offered in mélange Navy and Strata Grey, this refined base-to-single-layer sweater exemplifies how nearly a century of family-owned production, inherited knitting knowledge, and contemporary design combine to create enduring goods that are as sophisticated in appearance as they are extraordinary in construction.
Momotaro
From the historic denim-producing center of Kojima, Okayama, Momotaro continues to advance Japanese denim through proprietary textile development, precise construction, and a new generation of patterns that bring luxury and practicality to the everyday wardrobe. Leading this release is the remarkable 15 oz. Cotton-Silk Denim, an exclusive development featuring a substantial cotton warp and a silk weft to create a rigid denim with the luster, refined hand, and unexpected softness of a legacy-produced textile. With a significant silk content, this cloth lends a distinctly refined character to the #002 Denim Jacket, complemented by the #100 Standard Straight and #200 Standard Tapered jeans for coordinated expressions that move well beyond the conventional workwear uniform.
The new core Standard collection reinforces Momotaro’s signature 14.7 oz. Tokuno Indigo Selvedge Denim, engineered with a high-density weave and repeated indigo dyeing to achieve an exceptionally deep blue with precise, long-term fading potential. Offered in the #100 Standard Straight, #200 Standard Tapered, and #400 Standard Wide, the collection spans the silhouette spectrum from tailored to classically minded, all built on a common foundation of exceptional Japanese craftsmanship and enduring utility. Completing the collection, the Suvin Cotton Long Sleeve Thermals in Black, White, and Navy use the rarest extra-long-staple cotton to provide a luxurious hand, substantial texture, and breathable comfort in foundational layers that work equally well worn alone or beneath any shirt, overshirt, or jacket.
