Description

The Crockett & Jones x Division Road Black Rough-Out Suede Sandhurst Derby is an exclusive collaboration with one of England's oldest family-owned footwear makers with an authentic legacy that takes a military-inspired pattern to the outdoors in a waxed Roughout Suede upper paired with a Vibram Cleated Carrarmato sole. This Division Road style uses a special recipe, tanned in the UK by the storied Charles F. Stead, of premium calf sides that are luxuriously aniline dyed, used on the flesh side and sanded to a mild nap, and then waxed in the tanning process to yield a refined, casual material with robust performance in the outdoors. The Sandhurst is a newer design in the Crockett & Jones line-up, functioning as an officer-dress derby shoe with a straight cap toe, an open lacing pattern, and a sleek quarter design for a proportional and clean form. The elegant dress-casual silhouette of the Sandhurst is achieved with the 325 Last that has an elongated almond toe and accommodative fit from forefoot to heel to yield a sleekly shaped and fully functional style. This new-classic shoe is configured in the finest materials with a natural vegetable tanned leather lining, French binding, black eyelets, and a black leather storm welt atop the Vibram Cleated Carrarmato sole, developed for all terrain with a commanding tank-like tread, which provides comfort and durability with a modern profile to serve as a distinguished, casual style for the Original Gentleman. Crockett & Jones is regarded as one of England's finest Goodyear welting footwear makers using meticulously sourced premium materials and refined traditional techniques that combine with precisely developed Lasts, inspired pattern making, and a strict adherence to the highest production standards from cutting to finishing.
