Description

The Crockett & Jones x Division Road Bronze Oiled Sides Coniston Boot is an exclusive collaboration with one of England's oldest family-owned footwear makers with an authentic legacy that takes the iconic gentleman's dress-focused English country derby boot, inspired by Royal Army officer styles over the ages, and elevates it for the future. This Division Road style uses a special combination oil-tan recipe by Horween of premium steer sides that are hot stuffed with oils and waxes, with a sanded grain applied allowing the ingredients to protect the surface and a sophisticated patina to develop, yielding a refined, casual material with robust performance in the outdoors. The Coniston is one of the longest standing and most popular designs in the current Crockett & Jones roster, functioning as a proper military-inspired derby boot with a straight cap toe, higher quarter, and back stay design to give a streamlined look to a substantial form. This Coniston's sleek and casual silhouette is achieved with the 378 Last that has a slightly elongated almond toe and accommodative fit in the forefoot with a tapered waist and gripped heel to hold the foot in a fully functional style. This new-classic boot is configured in the finest materials with a natural vegetable tanned leather lining, antique brass eyelets, a dark brown fabric pull loop, and a leather storm welt and midsole with dark brown finishing, all atop a British-made Ridgeway sole to provide lug traction in an elegant design and serve as a distinguished style for the Original Gentleman. Crockett & Jones is regarded as one of England's finest Goodyear welting footwear makers using meticulously sourced, premium materials and refined traditional techniques that combine with precisely developed Lasts, inspired pattern making, and a strict adherence to the highest production standards from cutting to finishing.
