Description

The Crockett & Jones x Division Road Teak Oiled Sides Arran Boot is an exclusive collaboration with one of England's oldest family-owned footwear makers and takes a gentleman's vintage country boot pattern with military roots to the outdoors. This Division Road style uses a special combination vegetable re-tannage recipe by Horween of premium steer sides that are hot stuffed with oils and waxes. The supple grain allows both the ingredients to protect the surface and a sophisticated patina to develop, yielding a refined, casual material with robust performance in the outdoors. A newer design in the Crockett & Jones line-up, the Arran is a fully functional country boot with a single continuous vamp, an appropriately high quarter that comes into the instep, and is finished with a fluted backstay and leather pull loop for an elegant utilitarian design. This Arran's refined outdoor silhouette is achieved with the 365 Last designed for country boots with a higher quarter and a military backbone. The sleek, rounded toe and accommodative fit in the forefoot combine with a moderate waist and heel to suit a wide variety of feet, affording performance and comfort during activities in the wild. This new-classic boot is configured in the finest materials with antique brass eyelets and a dark brown leather storm welt atop the Vibram Cleated Carrarmato sole, developed for all terrain with a commanding tank-like tread, which provides comfort and durability with a modern profile to serve as a distinguished, casual style for the Original Gentleman. Crockett & Jones is regarded as one of England's finest Goodyear welting footwear makers using meticulously sourced, premium materials and refined traditional techniques that combine with precisely developed Lasts, inspired pattern making, and a strict adherence to the highest production standards from cutting to finishing.
