Collaborations and Releases from Crockett & Jones, De Bonne Facture, Gitman Vintage, and Chup
This week, we have a collection of refined casual goods that reflect mid-century modern sensibilities and movements in art and design, presented through a vintage palette that is both bold and balanced. Some new core Scotch Grain icons arrive from Crockett & Jones, paired with inspired socks from Chup.
Collaborations with Gitman Vintage bring us the Simple Jacket, along with warm-weather casual standards that pair with De Bonne Facture soft tailoring pieces, all excellent for sartorial or sophisticated situations. As we redefine the new and vintage, we look to the hallmarks of Mid-Century Modern style: a balance of proportion and scale, intriguing palettes rooted in natural materials, and structured shapes and lines softened by gentle curves to create new forms.
Crockett & Jones
Since 1879, Crockett & Jones has continued to define footwear that bridges country durability with refined versatility, producing styles that transition seamlessly from the city to the field. Their exclusive Scotch Grain Calf offers sturdy pliability in an intricate, custom-patterned leather that retains its structure while developing a rich, natural character through wear. Built on time-tested lasts and finished with purpose-driven outsoles, these iconic styles balance tradition, utility, and enduring form.
The Chelsea 11 is a fresh take on a mod-era classic, elevated with Black Scotch Grain Calf and grounded by a Vibram Carrarmato sole for enhanced traction and durability. This pairing introduces a more rugged sensibility to the traditionally sleek silhouette of the 335 Last, allowing it to perform across varied terrain without sacrificing elegance. The result is a Chelsea boot that feels equally at home in inclement conditions and in an everyday wardrobe.
The Coniston and Pembroke, both on the 325 last, exemplify Crockett & Jones’ heritage in country footwear through robust construction and timeless design. The Coniston in Tan Scotch Grain Calf with a Dainite sole is a lace-up boot built for extended wear. At the same time, the Pembroke in Dark Brown Scotch Grain Calf delivers a full-brogue derby that balances durability with classic English styling. Together, these styles reinforce a philosophy of footwear designed to endure, combining quality and style while adapting to different environments with ease and distinction.
De Bonne Facture
From our Parisian atelier, De Bonne Facture continues to refine relaxed tailoring through thoughtful fabric development and an emphasis on drape and natural form. This season’s Belgium Wool & Linen Traveler Jacket, available in Cinnamon and Anthracite, pairs with the Grandad Trouser in Cinnamon to create a cohesive ensemble defined by fluid form and tonal depth. The wool-and-linen blend balances breathability and elegance, resulting in garments that move effortlessly from day to night and into occasional settings.
Gitman Vintage x Division Road
Introducing the Simple Jacket, Gitman Vintage extends its shirting expertise into tailored form, rooted in heritage references and exceptional cloths. Crafted from Marling & Evans® British wool cloths, these soft jackets are cut from all-season hopsack and plaid flannel weaves that deliver durability, wrinkle resistance, and a refined drape through specialized yarn construction. Designed as an unstructured, unlined sack jacket with timeless proportions, both the Navy Hopsack and the Division Road exclusive Charcoal & Chestnut Plaid Flannel versions offer tailoring that defines smart casual with understated class.
Our Camp shirt program continues with a Division Road exploration of textile design, drawing on both historical and contemporary sources. Two styles feature Alexander Girard reproduction designs in Italian poplins – Grey Small Squares and Brown Jacks – bringing a mid-century graphic sensibility into a modern context. At the same time, Japanese Jacquard Dobby Dot in Olive and Organic Cotton Voile Check in Brown offer texture-driven alternatives. Produced in limited runs, these fresh vintage shirts combine expressive fabric with Gitman’s legacy construction recipe, creating warm-weather staples that balance individuality with everyday wearability.
