Tricker's Churchill Boot - 2298 - Ridgeway - Horween Whiskey Bison CXL

Churchill Boot - 2298 - Ridgeway - Horween Whiskey Bison CXL

The Tricker's x Division Road Horween Whiskey Bison CXL Churchill Boot is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear using a premium Horween hard-wearing Bison leather upper paired with the elegant Ridgeway lug sole. This Division Road exclusive style uses grain-heavy Bison hides in a limited batch, Whiskey Chromexcel by Horween® — the original pull-up leather developed from a nearly century-old secret recipe of techniques, materials, and finishes. This tannage is known for its flexibility, comfort, and durability and is tumbled for an enhanced, tightened grain with a natural feel and soft finish. The Churchill is similar to an Officer’s battle dress boot with a high quarter, curved peak counter, cap toe, and ridgeline pinking throughout. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. This Churchill's elegant silhouette is achieved by using the w2298 Last, which has an urban dress boot shape with a slightly extended toe that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple battlefield-to-Broadway-focused boot that combines country footwear build-quality with a modern form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With French binding, brass eyelets, a natural Barbour storm welt, and a leather midsole atop a British-made Ridgeway lug sole, this boot takes a British classic to refined heights while acting as a foundation to any ensemble. As England's oldest shoemaker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.
