Description

The Brushed Winter Madras Check Flannel in Navy and Brick is made in a three-season 6.5 oz. medium-weight twill woven in a large-scale check pattern from an archived 1970s Madras, using yarn-dyed shades of navy, brick, tan, and vintage-white, resulting in another brilliantly updated, timeless piece. Loomed in India from 100% Cotton combed yarns, this fabric is brushed to create a subtle texture and a luxurious, soft, and flexible hand in a hearty material. It features Gitman's original details, including the signature button-down collar, chest pocket, chalk buttons, a locker loop, and a final horizontal buttonhole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the modern tailored fit with a moderate hem sweep that styles well tucked or untucked, and an adapted straight cut "just right" for most body types. The Winter Madras is true to size, and generally, we suggest taking your most common Alpha size. Gitman Vintage shirts are washed post-production, so expect some size variation between different fabrics. There is little to no shrinkage when cold-washed and air-dried.
