Description

The Freenote Cloth Ortega Pant is a fresh remake of a carpenter workwear trouser in a classic straight fit with a high rise, a roomy seat and thigh, and a straight leg to a wide hem, yielding a traditional cut for various body types. These pants are crafted from a 13 oz. Japanese Herringbone Twill, reproduced based on military cloths known for their durability and drape. This cloth is loomed using yarns dyed to a saturated burnt brown Rust to reflect a workwear palette, and garment-washed to provide a vintage texture, finish, and softened flexibility in a dutiful fabric that will patina over time. The Ortega Pant fit is a modern take on a classic straight, channeling a timeless aesthetic in a function-forward cut for a wide range of body types. Staying true to heritage production details and design elements, this pant features a US-made gunmetal button fly, copper-riveted slant-front pockets, back patch pockets, and a utility-knife side patch pocket. It is completed with a heavy-duty twill for the interior knee reinforcement panel, waistband lining, and pocket bags. It is constructed with a triple chainstitched flat-felled seat, inseam, and outseam, along with bartack reinforcements throughout. The Freenote Cloth Ortega Pant is a modern take on Western workwear made in the United States with old-world quality – sure to become a future heirloom for the vintage-inspired enthusiast seeking something new.

Sizing

Model Measurements: 6'2" | 175 lbs. | 42" Chest | 35" Waist - Wearing Size 33

Freenote Cloth runs true to size, and we suggest going 0-1 size down from your Actual Waist Measurement (Body/Belt). This piece is made with a sanforized fabric and has been once washed to remove most shrinkage. Twills and canvas cloths will not stretch considerably, so size initially to an ideal fit.

Our Sizing Guide provides garment-specific measurements taken in-house, per Our Method. These measurements are not duplicated across fabric or colorways and are re-measured each production run. Please feel free to Contact Us for additional assistance.
