Description

The Freenote Cloth x Division Road Benson Wool Shirt is crafted in a custom-made Fox Brothers® x Division Road cloth designed in collaboration on every ingredient, from the yarn, article, palette, and pattern, woven and finished at the world-famous 200-year-old original Somerset mill, and applied exclusively to this single-run limited edition. This limited bolt, heavyweight 20 oz. 'Exmoor' Twill Flannel Check uses the finest 100% Superfine Merino Wool in a highly worsted, suiting-grade fabric engineered for the outdoors. Since 1772, Fox Brothers has produced top-tier textiles used in many applications, from Savile Row tailoring to British Military garments. By sourcing the best fibers from around the world and using intensive hand-driven milling and cording processes, they produce fabrics of the highest grade, combining comfort, density, and durability in one. This incredibly flexible and robust cloth comes in a natural palette reflecting Division Road at The Fields, with midnight navy, forest green, and chestnut on a concrete gray field, in the complex, block Hunter Check in an overcoating-weight twill weave and refined worsted yarns for a sophisticated aesthetic and a luxurious flannel finish. Using the Benson Shirt pattern, this Division Road exclusive is adapted and perfectly proportioned, featuring a Japanese Cotton-Rayon satin yoke and sleeve lining for shirt-to-overshirt convertibility from fall through spring, highlighting the style versatility of field and military shirts. Staying true to heritage production details and evolved design elements, this shirt features a point collar, a subtly curved back yoke panel with shoulder pleats, buttoned patch chest pockets, and pleated button cuffs. It is completed with Italian horn buttons, felled seams, single and double-needle construction, and bartack reinforcements throughout. The Freenote Cloth x DR + Fox Brothers® x DR Forest Hunter Check Twill Flannel Benson Shirt is a modern take on workwear made in the United States with an old-world quality – sure to become a future heirloom for the vintage-inspired enthusiast.
