Description

The Freenote Cloth Northfork Sand Chambray Shirt is a medium-weight piece crafted from Japanese Nep Chambray, making it a dress-casual shirt suitable as an all-season staple. Using the Northfork Shirt pattern, fashioned after 1940s western wear, this piece is proportioned to be worn tucked in and designed with semi-formal flair, giving vintage western shirts a new flavor. This fabric is loomed in Japan as a 4.5 oz. Chambray with undyed cotton nep yarns that provide an irregular texture and cotton fiber specs to the subtly brushed finish, and is garment-washed for a softened feel on a crisp cloth that will only improve with age. Staying true to heritage production details and evolved design elements, this shirt features an elongated point collar, a snapped placket, sharply curved front and back yokes, snapped flap patch chest pockets, and triple-snapped pleated cuffs. It is completed with Japanese reproduction pearl snaps, felled seams, bartack reinforcements, and single and double-needle construction. The Freenote Cloth Sand Nep Chambray Northfork Shirt is a modern take on Western workwear made in the United States with old-world quality – sure to become a future heirloom for the vintage-inspired enthusiast seeking something new.
