Fall-Winter 2026 Residency Rundown
The annual Residency is one reason our flagship exists in a rural agrotourism setting. It informs how the showroom operates, how we approach curation, our relationships with clients, and the experience of visiting The Fields. Division Road is built around exclusive goods, high-touch service, and a highly considered presentation of craft, authenticity, and luxury; the Residency brings those elements together and invites our clients to participate in the process. It is the finest example of our world of creativity and community, fully on display for a few days each year.
Made-to-Order is central to that experience. Rather than presenting our finished goods, we work with our resident makers to assemble exceptional materials and customization options into programs that remain exciting, rare, and approachable for both the client and the craftsperson. This places the people who care most about these goods directly in the process, while giving the makers a genuine connection to the patrons who understand and support their work. The result is the opportunity to create pieces with meaning, provenance, and individuality.
This year, Freenote Cloth and Original Madras Trading Company present Made-to-Order programs designed to build wardrobe grails from the material up. At the same time, Alessandro Squarzi presents the Fortela x Division Road Fox Brothers and Lovat Sonsie capsule through his personal lens. Alongside these features, unreleased and limited-run Division Road collaborations will appear for the first—and in some cases only—time at the gathering. The Residency extends beyond the design table and showroom into The Fields as it enters its next chapter as a rewilded landscape. We are celebrating our partners who helped turn this vision into a place we find truly magical.
Brian Morse, a certified wildlife biologist and man of the land from Virginia Forestry & Wildlife, will lead a guided walk through the property. Brooke Savage of Trophic Bees, our Master Beekeeper, will host presentations and honey-tasting flights from The Fields apiary, alongside others. Silver Hand Meadery will debut our Wicked Wildflower Honey Wine, paired with selections from its latest and greatest. Michael Shaps Wineworks will pour some of Virginia’s finest wines, sure to impress any oenophile, and award-winning Autumn Olive Farms will provide an elevated barbecue cookout featuring its heritage pork and ingredients from the Shenandoah Valley.
