The Fields Honey is organic, raw, and unfiltered, derived from indigenous flowering trees and our converted pollinator habitats of native wildflower meadows by bees who call The Fields at Division Road home. This 2024 vintage is our second harvest and production, developed from a passion for preservation, restoration, and conservation. The Fields 11 oz. Raw and Unfiltered 2024 Vintage is comprised of Tulip Poplar, Black Locust, and Blackberry nectar as the dominant sources and includes undernotes of Autumn Olive, Clover, Sassafras, Redbud, and Dandelion. The heavy annual nectar flows are now over for spring. After a wildly successful harvest, we have left a substantial amount of honey and pollen in the hives instead of scraping them bare and providing sugar water as a substitute. Honey and pollen are packed with essential nutrients and serve as the primary food source for honeybees through winter, giving them the best chance for long-term health. The honey is presented in a glass jar with actual-size pen and ink artwork by Keana, exclusive to this vintage and inspired by the wildflower foliage that supports the on-site apiary at The Fields. Each jar comes with an informational card containing tasting notes related to the vintage and is individually packaged in pinstripe kraft boxes. This honey offers an authentic taste of the fields that we have restored to an ecological wonderland and could be the best honey you've ever tasted. It is produced from a labor of love for nature and preservation.
