Designed as a cohesive collection inspired by British style and materials, this drop with MotivMfg brings new developments along with freshening up some tried-and-true styles. The bulk of the series comes in the Fox Brothers® limited bolt 18 oz. Tweed Twill that’s produced at the famous Somerset mill, which is the inspiration for the character-rich palette and texture of this material that is refined through cording and results in an unmatched, soft finish and luxurious drape, designed for the outdoors and produced in suiting grade. Using this rare superfine merino cloth, we have a new tailored, double-breasted Swiss Army Overcoat coming in a brilliant and warm Walnut brown for a cross-seasonal piece with hyper functionality and style, paired with the Grey Flannel Dress Hunt Jacket, Vest, and Trouser three-piece tailoring set to provide individual pieces that will lend themselves to boundless versatility from formal to causal expeditions. Finally, we have a new design with the Swiss Army Cargo Trouser that takes aero and nautical influences from mid-century European militaria and refashions them into something equally vintage and directional in style, coming in a durable and fine lambswool Abraham Moon Merino Twill woolen with a resilient drape and soft hand for a comfortable and functional trouser.
Crockett & Jones x Division Road
Inspired by the Bond movie and taken to new heights, we’ve anxiously been awaiting these two C&J collaborations since their conception as sleek, utilitarian, tonal configurations that embody our ethos that style, performance, and comfort can live as one. The Black Roughout Suede Ross Boot comes on our signature 378 Last with a dress shape to a function-forward Munson military backbone, and fully murdered out specifications including tonal eyelets, a leather storm welt, and a suede padded roll collar that enhance the matte black waxed flesh side leather that will patina with shades of grey. The Teak Oiled Sides Arran Boot is molded on the 365 Last for an elegant shape to an outdoor-focused form, using hand selected, vegetable re-tanned steer side hides with a high oil and fat content to provide protection with a rich patina. This Arran is designed with a similar continuous vamp, a clean high quarter, an integrated fluted backstay with pull loop, and tonal specifications of antique brass eyelets and a dark brown leather storm welt. Both make-ups provide full off-road utility in a proportional profile with the cleated Vibram Carrarmato sole that was originally developed with Pirelli. The “Armored Car” translation perfectly describes this flexible and functional lug sole combined with the high style and performance of these transformative C&J x DR boots.
