Stead Sand Calf Suede Double Fold Boot is a whole-cut pattern based on western workwear roper boots with the original's pull-on utility and dutiful nature in a directional style. This Women's ASP limited edition uses Calf Suede from the United Kingdom's storied C.F. Stead, regarded as the finest suede tannery in the world. This recipe uses full-weight calf hides hand-selected for their consistency and tension that are aniline dyed and finished with a finely sanded nap that has a luxurious hand that will perform well in any weather. In response to the mass industrialization of manufacturing in the 20th century, Arch Support Project is taking modern design elements and turning back the clock with hand-grade footwear production and completely exclusive techniques. Made specifically for our female clients and audience, the WMNs Double Fold uses an adapted version of the custom Arch Support Last altered for a women's foot and graded for sizing accordingly. The ASP cork insert allows you to adjust sizing and fit when layered between the cork-padded leather footbed and the constructed leather insole. This Double Fold comes in a minimalist composition with little machine stitching, and the upper is hand-lasted using a single piece of leather and adjusted over one month of drying to ensure the hide conforms accurately and relates its natural character. This clean palette is complemented with blind eyelets and a hand-stitched leather pull loop. Avant-garde meets old-world aesthetic and functionality with an all-leather build from the toe and counter structure that combines with the natural leather sole with integrated Arch Support leather cup that is hand-chainstitched into the upper, allowing the footwear and components to completely conform and mold to the foot and gait. In the only workshop in the world with this level of hand-lasting, welting, and construction, ASP is made one at a time in small batches that blend luxury with artisan rarity. Completed with a hand-braided and chainstitched flat welt atop a natural leather midsole and customized sole, this all-leather and tonally crafted Double Fold will confidently style and stride with comfort and craft.
