Arch Support Project Limited Editions

This week, we are pleased to introduce the Arch Support Project Hunter Moc, marking a resounding evolution for the brand. It is the first true moccasin style from ASP, following the brand’s previous demonstration of exquisite wholecut forms. Handcrafted by Rock Yeh and his small team in his cult-famous South China workshop – long respected for its uncompromising handwork – this style draws directly from vintage insulated hunting boots of the 1930s–1950s, reinterpreted through ASP’s deeply archival lens. Every element is executed with all-natural materials and hand techniques pushed to their limits, featuring a hand-sewn upper and a chainstitched braided welt that connects the upper-to-insole-to-midsole arch support leather cup. The footwear is built entirely from leather, allowing it to mold organically to the wearer over time. Produced in extremely limited batches and never to be repeated, these Hunter Mocs stand as a deliberate counterpoint to industrialized footwear, reaffirming that artisan style can be inventive.

ASP Heinen Espresso Brown Hunter Moc

The Espresso Brown Hunter Moc is crafted from a rare, hydrophobic pull-up leather developed by Heinen Tannery in Germany, using environmentally responsible chrome retanning to achieve waterproof performance without sacrificing natural aging. Full-weight cowhides are drum aniline dyed to create immense depth and movement, allowing the leather to shift, crease, and patina over time with a richly antiqued character. The upper is entirely hand-sewn, featuring a moc-toe plug and a continuous 360-degree quarter-to-vamp connection, then slowly hand-lasted and adjusted over nearly a month to preserve the hide’s natural integrity. Finished with tonal espresso hardware and a Vibram Jibari Neo Lug sole, this one-and-done release blends old-world hunting utility with ASP’s uncompromising construction ethos.

ASP Heinen Black Hunter Moc

The Black Hunter Moc uses the same Heinen hydrophobic leather, rendered in a deep black that emphasizes form, structure, and material over contrast. While visually restrained, the leather retains the same dramatic pull-up and long-term patina potential, softening and revealing character through natural wear outdoors, for which these hides are specifically designed. ASP’s signature arch cup is fully integrated into the upper, welt, and leather midsole as a single structural system, hand-chainstitched and built entirely from natural materials to move as one with the foot. Finished with black hardware and the same rugged Vibram Jibari Neo Lug sole, this limited, one-of-a-kind iteration underscores ASP’s refusal to compromise – where modern high design meets pre-industrial craftsmanship at its highest level.
