Description

The Arch Support Project x Division Road Heinen Espresso Brown Hunter Moc is inspired by vintage insulated hunting boots from the 1930s to 1950s, crafted with true hand-sewn moccasin construction and a double vamp upper. This exclusive-to-Division Road style uses a rare, hydrophobic recipe from Heinen Tannery, one of Germany's oldest tanneries specializing in vertical sourcing, hand-selected cowhides of the highest quality, and environmentally friendly chrome tanning. The full-weight cowhides are drum-aniline dyed and chrome tanned using responsible ingredients to produce a durable, waterproof leather with immense pull-up that conforms to the foot, requires minimal maintenance, and develops an antiqued patina. In response to the mass industrialization of manufacturing in the 20th century, Arch Support Project is taking modern design elements and turning back the clock with hand-grade footwear production and completely exclusive techniques. This Hunter Moc features a complex, hand-crafted composition with minimal machine stitching and a completely hand-sewn upper, including a moccasin toe-to-vamp and quarter-panel connection. The upper is then hand-lasted and adjusted over a period of one month to ensure the hide conforms accurately to the form and retains its natural character. This artisan palette is complemented by tonal espresso eyelets and speed hooks, a single-piece leather backstay, and a hand-sewn pull loop. The custom Arch Support Last accommodates a wide variety of feet, and a cork insert allows you to adjust sizing and fit when layered between the cork-padded leather footbed and the constructed leather insole. Avant-garde meets old-world aesthetic and functionality with an all-leather build: the counter structure and Arch Support leather cup are hand-chainstitched into the upper and integrated into the leather midsole, allowing the footwear and components to conform to the foot. In the only workshop in the world with this level of hand-lasting, welting, and construction, ASP is made one at a time in small batches that blend luxury with artisan rarity. Completed with a hand-sewn braided chainstitched flat welt atop a customized Vibram Jibari Neo Lug sole, this brilliant Hunter Moc will confidently conquer the streets and backwoods with comfort and craft.

Sizing

Arch Support Project is based on the full-size European system. We suggest using the chart below to convert a common US Sneaker Size (Nike, New Balance, Adidas, etc.) to the Arch Support Project EU Size. The ASP Last is accommodative, and for wider feet, a comfort-based fit, or if between sizes, go to the next size up and use a Cork Insert between the constructed insole and Padded Footbed to adjust size and volume. Please feel free to Contact Us for assistance.

Size US-EU: 7 / 7.5 = 40 | 8 / 8.5 = 41 | 9 / 9.5 = 42 | 10 / 10.5 = 43 | 11 / 11.5 = 44 | 12 / 12.5 = 45 | 13 / 13.5 = 46
