This vintage-inspired jean is made with the limited and exclusive 13.5 oz. Ishikawadai Denim, produced on a vintage spinning machine for a soft, hearty, style-forward heritage collector’s item. This unsanforized denim is loomed from ring-spun cotton produced by the oldest operational spinning machine in Japan, manufactured in 1953 by Ishikawa Seisakusho Co. It operates at exceptionally slow speeds with less tension on the premium Texas-grown cotton fibers. This production process yields an all-season Japanese selvedge denim with sophisticated character, featuring an indigo rope-dyed warp and a natural grey weft for an intensely crafted jean that will fade into a personalized patina.
