Description

The Japanese Archive Dishtowel Check in Navy from Gitman Vintage is made from an all-season, 3.5 oz. lightweight 100% Cotton box-weave cloth using dyed yarns to create an archival check pattern replicating a vintage dishtowel for another brilliantly updated, timeless piece. Loomed in Japan as a refined version of a Cambridge Oxford cloth with a textured finish, luxurious drape, and workwear-level durability, this shirt will evolve with a perfectly worn-in casual look with repeated wearing and washes. It is completed with Gitman's original details, like the signature button-down collar, chalk buttons, a locker loop, and a final horizontal buttonhole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the modern tailored fit with a moderate hem sweep that styles well tucked or untucked and an adapted straight cut "just right" for most body types. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, original, and have a casual sophistication, making them a standard wardrobe piece for many well-dressed men.
