Description

The Dehen 1920 x Division Road Weekender Jacket is crafted from a limited-bolt, heavyweight 18 oz. Clifton Archive Check 'Somerset' Twill Tweed produced at the 200-year-old original Somerset mill by the world-famous Fox Brothers® using the finest 100% British Merino Wool in a highly worsted, suiting-grade fabric engineered for the outdoors. Since 1772, Fox Brothers has produced top-tier textiles used in many applications, from Savile Row tailoring to British Military garments. By sourcing the best fibers from around the world and using intensive hand-driven milling and cording processes, they produce fabrics of the highest grade, combining comfort, density, and durability in one. This incredibly flexible and robust cloth comes in a natural palette to reflect the Devon coast countryside meeting the Exmoor wilderness that it's designed to confront and boasts a complex deconstructed glen check achieved with thick yarns in a twill weave of espresso brown, fog grey, rust, wheat, and a sage green accent for a sophisticated aesthetic and luxuriously textured finish. A modern take on a classic leisure jacket, the Weekender has a throwback combination of coordinated accents that highlight Dehen's history as an established American heritage staple, with a timeless design and brown worsted-wool ribbed hem and cuffs made on Dehen's own 1940s circular knitting machines. This best-in-class garment crafted with authentic American workmanship features welted hand pockets, a vertical interior chest pocket, a military-grade two-way brass zipper with an interior storm placket reinforced with zigzag stitching, and a fully finished satin lining. Combining exceptional fabrics with a perfected heritage-inspired design, this Dehen 1920 x Division Road Weekender Jacket evokes a new-classic spirit from the British Isles to become a collectible that can be treasured in its daily use.

    Collection: Dehen 1920

Founded in 1920 by William Peter Dehen, this Portland-based company started by creating high quality varsity and collegiate sweaters for student athletes and then expanded into supplying local motorcycle clubs with custom riding sweaters. Preserving over a century-long tradition of heavy-duty, quality manufacturing, it is likely that your father’s varsity jacket or grandfather’s letterman sweater was made by Dehen. Now, the company is creating variations on heritage styles without compromising the build to yield new classics meant to endure as...
