Description

The Dehen 1920 x Division Road Pilot Club Jacket is made in a limited bolt, heavy overcoating 30 oz. weight of Fox's Great Coat Cloth in Khaki, comprised of a plain weave produced at the 200-year-old original Somerset mill by the world-famous Fox Brothers® using the finest 100% British Wool in a worsted, suiting grade fabric engineered for the outdoors. Since 1772, Fox Brothers has produced top-tier textiles used in many applications, from Savile Row tailoring to British Military garments. By sourcing the best fibers from around the world and using intensive, hand-driven milling and cording processes, they produce fabrics of the highest grade, combining comfort, density, and durability. This incredibly durable cloth is reproduced straight from the Fox military archives and was used in The Great War for everything from blankets to officer coats, and comes in the original khaki color that includes fibers that range from natural, tan, to olive in a plain weave and single brushed finish that will combat the elements with a sophisticated aesthetic. The Pilot Club is based on a new Dehen jacket pattern and is inspired by early iterations of the MA-1 Flight Jacket and Tanker Jackets from WWII, paying homage to Bill Dehen's military service through a clean, perfectly proportioned design. This jacket is enhanced with exceptional fabric crafted for lifelong resistance to inclement weather, making it suitable for all environments, from the backwoods to the battlefield. A timeless addition to Dehen's handcrafted outerwear offerings, this piece elevates the original with slant-welt hand pockets, a brown corozo-button front with an antique-brass snapped hem closure, an interior welt pocket, and is fully satin-lined in the body and sleeves. Finally, the Pilot Club Jacket is finished with a heavy-gauge knit worsted wool ribbed flat collar, hem, and cuffs, made with Dehen's 1940s weaving machines. Combining exceptional fabrics with a perfected heritage-inspired design, this Dehen 1920 x Division Road piece evokes a new-classic spirit, drawing on the British Isles to become a collectible that can be treasured in daily use.

    Collection: Dehen 1920

Founded in 1920 by William Peter Dehen, this Portland-based company started by creating high quality varsity and collegiate sweaters for student athletes and then expanded into supplying local motorcycle clubs with custom riding sweaters. Nearing a century-long tradition of heavy-duty, quality manufacturing, it is likely that your father’s varsity jacket or grandfather’s letterman sweater was made by Dehen. Now, the company is creating variations on heritage styles without compromising the build to yield new classics meant to endure as antique...
