Taking Nicks' classic 6" work boot pattern and customizing every detail possible from the panel pieces to the stitching design and all specifications, this is a limited edition style-forward collaboration with one of the finest makers in the Pacific Northwest. This exclusive-to-Division Road Italian Brown Cypress Everyday Man Boot uses a rare batch of Italian Brown Cypress leather by Horween®. This vegetable-tanned recipe uses the same traditional, high-oil-and-fat-content extracts as Cordovan, is lightly drum-dyed with a natural core, and has an aniline finish to retain the hide’s natural feel and remarkable grain characteristics. It is then hand-waxed for stout flexibility, while allowing a deep patina that highlights the leather's innate qualities. The result is a hearty leather that combines our affinity for workwear durability with, when worn hard, a glorious patina and glove-like comfort. Molded on the Munson-inspired HNW Last, which provides a gripped fit and rounded toe, this boot is a fully functional, outdoor-appropriate, and intrinsically lifetime-built boot. It is complemented by a fully gusseted brown leather tongue and leather-coordinated Nicks Handmade Boots x Division Road false tongues. With a design-centric approach to utility, our custom stitching configurations for the cap toe, quarter, and single-piece counter are complemented by antique eyelets, a beeswax finished natural leather midsole and block heel, atop a reproduction Dr. Sole Urban Explorer lug sole, assembled with stitchdown construction by Nicks craftspeople in Spokane, Washington.
