Taking Nicks' classic 6" work boot pattern and customizing every detail possible from the panel pieces to the stitching design and all specifications, this is a limited edition style-forward collaboration with one of the finest makers in the Pacific Northwest. This exclusive-to-Division Road Black Cherry Moc Toe Boot uses a rare batch of Color 8 Cypress leather by Horween®. This vegetable-tanned recipe applies the same traditional high oil and fat content extracts as Cordovan, lightly drum dyed with a natural core and aniline finish to retain the hide’s natural feel and remarkable grain characteristics. It is then hand-waxed for stout flexibility while allowing for a deep patina that highlights the innate qualities of the leather. The result is a hearty leather that combines our affinity for workwear durability and, when worn hard, will develop a glorious patina and glove-like comfort. Molded on the Munson-inspired HNW Last that provides a gripped fit and rounded toe, this boot is a fully functional, outdoor-appropriate, and intrinsically lifetime build, complemented with a machine moc-toe, a fully gusseted black leather tongue, coordinated Nicks Handmade Boots x Division Road false tongues, and a flex notch eyestay. With a design-centric approach to utility, our custom stitching configurations are complemented with antique eyelets, a black leather midsole, and a Nicks Christy Wedge sole, assembled with stitchdown construction by Nicks' craftspeople in Spokane, Washington.
