The Momotaro 0605-40 14.7 oz. Legacy Blue Denim in the Natural Tapered is a mid-high rise with a roomy seat and thigh that gracefully tapers through the leg to a narrow hem to yield a relaxed tapered cut for a wide variety of body types. The new 14.7 oz. Legacy denim is a recipe of hand cultivated, long-staple 100% Organic Zimbabwe Cotton vintage shuttle loomed at moderate tensions with a soft, slightly slubbed yarn and rope dyed to a vintage blue indigo. The result is a proprietary denim that provides immediate comfort that will continue to evolve with a soft hand, structured form, and a color saturation that will fade with layered vintage character through years of heavy wear. With a bright indigo dyed warp and natural weft over natural core yarns, this denim will develop fading patterns of shades of blue to natural with repeated wears and washes. This jean comes with the Momotaro standard peach selvedge line to represent the folkloric story that symbolizes Japan’s rejuvenation of selvedge denim production in their home of Kojima, Okayama and the brand’s reputation of crafting some of the best jeans in the world by always looking to progress within traditional techniques. Finished with premium components and production standards, these jeans boast an embossed vegetable tanned cowhide patch, an indigo dyed and motif printed canvas lined back yoke, heavy duty canvas pocket bags with a woven jacquard logo pattern, an aged copper button fly, embossed copper riveting, hidden back rivets, bartack reinforcement throughout, and a chainstitched waist, seat, and hem. Sizing

Momotaro runs slightly large, and we suggest sizing down roughly 0-1 size from your Actual Waist Measurement (Body). This denim is sanforized and will stretch 1" in the waist with one month of regular use, and shrink .5" upon first wash.
