The Join or Die x Division Road Fields Artisan Handmade Damascus Steel and Fields Fallen Blackened Red Oak Explorer Knife is an exclusive, limited-edition hunting piece crafted in Richmond, Virginia, by knife maker Brent Stubblefield. He and his team traditionally forge blades from the finest materials, with hand-sculpted edges and handles, creating durable, functional heirlooms designed to withstand daily hard-duty use and be passed down through generations. This Artisan Series collaboration reflects a shared philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, utility, and timeless design. Inspired by the hearty character and authentic elegance of The Fields, each knife is handmade with a custom, in-house-forged 120-layer Damascus blade, crafted from 15N20 Nickel Steel and 1084 High Carbon Steel. The knife features a hand-sculpted handle made from fallen, air-dried, and stabilized Red Oak from The Fields and undergoes a custom submersion-dye process for a blackened espresso-ebony color profile throughout the grain. The configuration of a smooth, expertly made Damascus blade with black and ecru G-10 liners demonstrates strength and the use of high-quality materials with a sophisticated accent. To bring craft and design sense into the backwoods, this knife features custom stainless steel and brass pins that complement the undertones of the dyed red oak, as well as a brass lanyard tube for functional outdoor use. The beautifully patterned forged blade features a subtle laser-engraved "Join or Die" on one side and "Division Road" on the reverse. Accompanying this collaborative craft is a custom belt loop sheath made in-house from Wickett & Craig Buck Brown Traditional Harness leather.
