The EasyMoc x Division Road Natural CXL Bateau 2-Eye Moc is a fully functional camp shoe designed in collaboration with founder Greg Cordeiro. Made to serve in daily duty for the style-savvy looking to represent workshop craft, this shoe highlights Maine's finest traditions of hand-lasted, hand-sewn, true moccasin production. This Division Road make-up is made with undyed Natural Chromexcel that will patina and darken through continued exposure as deep scuffs and high wear areas reveal the lighter color of the natural core beneath. Chromexcel by Horween is the original pull-up leather developed from a nearly century-old secret recipe of techniques, materials, and finishes. It is known for its flexibility, comfort, and durability. This unlined single vamp upper is hand-lasted on an adapted vintage moccasin boot form, providing an accommodating fit that allows the moccasin's hand-sewn leather construction to mold to the foot. This camp shoe pattern is complemented by a high sidewall and collar, featuring a dark brown leather lace that runs through tonal antique brass eyelets to adjust the locked slip-on fit. It is completed with a heavy-gauge waxed moccasin toe and overcast stitching, making it refined for the city and well-equipped for exploring the woods. The Bateau Moc is assembled for a lifetime of utility using considered elements, including a Leather Ortholite® Comfort Hybrid Footbed for an elevated modern interior and a Blake-welted insole to a brown leather midsole for full re-craftability. For proportional balance and a stable surface, the Bateau shoe is completed with an outsole stitched midsole atop a Vibram 2062 Olympic sole, ideal for hiking, camping, and trekking in a workman-made moccasin that styles up to your best heritage or modern ensembles.
