Collaboration and Releases with EasyMoc, Heimat Textil, Gitman Vintage, Iron Heart, and Benzak
This week, we present a story that creatively explores Ivy style as a reliable companion within workwear. This blend of campus and shop class coordinates exemplifies the mid-century uniform that reflected and supported a life immersed in academics, automobiles, and extracurricular activities. Our dependable Rambler 3-Eye Moc collaboration with EasyMoc comes in a fresh Brown CXL configuration, while Heimat Textil brings us a well-edited collection that captures the essence of the northeastern artisan. Gitman Vintage and Iron Heart supply shirting options for socializing in the quad or rebuilding a carburetor, while Benzak drops classic chinos suited for both pursuits.
EasyMoc x DR Brown CXL Rambler 3-Eye Moc
Our development goal for the 3-Eye Rambler with EasyMoc was to incorporate the design and construction elements of a field boot into a casual shoe. This versatile persona and its ability to handle all conditions with comfort and modern style have made it one of our most requested and revered collaborations.
A dark batch of Brown CXL from Horween® features our thoughtful specifications of contrasting natural thread for the hand-sewn pattern pieces, reinforcement stitching, and midsole construction, while tonal upper stitching provides a clean composition for this handmade moccasin. The natural leather midsole and Vibram Christy 4014 sole offer a stable and durable surface that complements the construction elements and the natural core of the Brown Chromexel, which will develop a layered tonal patina when worn hard as intended.
Heimat Textil | Gitman Vintage
Designed in Germany and produced in Portugal, Heimat presents a refreshing take on iconic staples. The new Artist Blazer showcases a military-inspired Herringbone Twill canvas, complemented by a Patchwork Oxford Artist Pop Over and a Pinstripe Chambray Work Shirt, all of which offer intriguing options for the classically minded.
Gitman Vintage reinterprets the archives from the '60s and '70s, introducing two Madras hand-looms that provide fresh perspectives in versatile palettes, creating character-rich warm-weather staples. These pieces are perfect for a trip to the principal’s office, skipping class for the carhop, or simply displaying that prep style with well-crafted goods.
Iron Heart | Benzak
Proving that durability is not solely determined by weight, Iron Heart presents Short Sleeve shirting designed to withstand the heat while embodying the heritage, provenance, and dutiful nature they are known for throughout the year. All in Work Shirt patterns and 5 oz. cloths, the indigo-dyed Hickory Stripe Oxford and Black Madras Check are made from Selvedge fabrics complemented with placket reveals.
Equally excellent, the full Indigo Double Gauze features a climate-considered patina project with a unique waffled texture and drape. Benzak rounds out the ensemble with a complete restock of the BC-03 tapered Straight and BC-01 relaxed Tapered Chinos, crafted from military cloth that will transition seamlessly from the front lines to the front office.
