Description

The Dehen 1920 x Division Road Crissman Overshirt is made in a limited bolt, heavyweight 15 oz. Stone Grey Glen Check Limited Flannel produced at the 200-year-old original Somerset mill by the world-famous Fox Brothers® using the finest 95% British Wool and 5% Cashmere in a highly worsted, suiting grade fabric engineered for the outdoors. Since 1772, Fox Brothers has produced top-tier textiles used in many applications, from Savile Row tailoring to British Military garments. By sourcing the best fibers from around the world and using intensive hand-driven milling and cording processes, they produce fabrics of the highest grade with comfort, density, and durability, all wrapped into one. This incredibly flexible and robust cloth comes in a natural palette to reflect the Devon coast countryside meeting the Exmoor wilderness that it's designed to confront and boasts a complex Glen check in stone grey, charcoal, concrete, and chestnut tan in a box weave pattern for a sophisticated aesthetic and luxurious finish. This Crissman Overshirt is an example of functional and stylistic craftsmanship that will stand the test of time with seasonal versatility and wardrobe rotations as a fully lined, lightweight seasonal jacket or layering piece with a tan cotton twill body and rayon satin sleeves. Built like any foundational piece should be, this overshirt comes with horn buttons, brass hardware, reinforced elbows, chest flap pockets, welted hand pockets, and an interior device pocket. For what has become a shop and wardrobe favorite, this Crissman Overshirt quickly will become a standard choice for the gentleman farmer or urban woodsman to wear over a button down or an elevated basic in fall and spring and under a signature outerwear piece in the depths of winter. Combining excellent fabrics in a perfected heritage-inspired design, this Dehen 1920 x Division Road piece evokes a new-classic spirit by way of the British Isles to become a collectible that can be treasured in its daily use.

Founded in 1920 by William Peter Dehen, this Portland-based company started by creating high quality varsity and collegiate sweaters for student athletes and then expanded into supplying local motorcycle clubs with custom riding sweaters.
