The Momotaro MXJE1103 16 oz. Cotton x Silk Selvedge in the Narrow Tapered is a mid-high rise with a roomy seat and thigh that dramatically tapers through the leg to a very narrow hem to yield a modern slim tapered cut for various body types. The new 16 oz. Cotton Silk Selvedge Denim is a proprietary 3 x 2 vintage shuttle loomed recipe using hand-cultivated, long-staple Organic Zimbabwe Cotton for the 3 x warp and Peace Silk yarns for the 2 x weft. The result is a unique denim that's luxurious in finish and feel while having extreme durability that will evolve with a flexible, structured form. With a deeply saturated indigo-dyed cotton warp and grey silk weft over natural core yarns, this denim will fade with a layered steely character through years of heavy wear. This jean comes with the Momotaro standard peach selvedge line to represent the folkloric story that symbolizes Japan's rejuvenation of selvedge denim production in their home of Kojima, Okayama, and the brand's reputation of crafting some of the best jeans in the world by always looking to progress within traditional techniques. Finished with premium components and production standards, these jeans boast a black embossed leather patch, dutiful twill pocket bags, a black steel button waist and brass zipper fly, blackened copper riveting, hidden back rivets, bartack reinforcements throughout, and a chainstitched waist, seat, and hem.
