Collaborations and Releases with Tricker’s, De Bonne Facture, Fortela, and Momotaro

This week, we present a story that evokes nostalgia for the 1950s and 60s while showcasing modern, forward-looking pieces. This collection features sturdy materials that provide the comfort of draped fits and a versatile color palette inspired by spring's vibrant life and landscapes, reimagining traditional styles for a refreshing take on the classics.

We have a Chromexcel Collaboration Pack with Tricker’s featuring rare dye lots and patterns. De Bonne Facture brings us a collection inspired by the college campus and the Cannes lifestyle. Fortela offers a fresh perspective on vintage with several shirt jacket pieces, while Momotaro refreshes its core fabric, fit, and detailing for the new heritage denimhead.

Tricker’s x Division Road

Tricker’s x Division Road

We are honored to work with England’s oldest family-owned shoemaker, which continues to produce goods to traditional Goodyear welting standards in Northampton, the birthplace of industrial shoemaking. This nearly two-century-old maker has invented many of the patterns and techniques that remain rare in contemporary footwear manufacturing.

From sourcing enhanced leather weights and tannages to pulling patterns from the archives and offering exclusive detailing options, our Tricker’s present a new perspective on the heavy-duty signature. This Chromexcel Pack reflects our commitment to preserving tradition for the present and beyond. We have secured some rare dye lots of Horween’s famous CXL for these specific make-ups, which combine with the trademark 4497 Last and the newly utilized Ridgeway sole, creating footwear that transitions seamlessly from work to weekend duty.

The Dark Forest CXL Churchill Boot comes in a single dye lot of dark forest green that reads almost brown. It features a natural tea core, allowing a rich, high-low patina to develop. Our exclusive pattern, the Churchill Officer Boot, is a sophisticated high derby boot that merges refined dress elements with military style, such as fine ridgeline pinking and French binding.

The Navy CXL Daniel Tramping Shoe is a Tricker’s derby iteration with a two-piece pattern designed to showcase the leather character while offering a gripped fit in all conditions. This batch of Navy CXL comes in a deep midnight and natural tea core that will coordinate denim and chinos from high to full break, depending on which style era you choose to channel.

For these two limited editions, we have preserved the trademark detailing that reflects the authentic craft and heavy-duty build of a Tricker’s. They feature a natural leather Barbour welt and midsole and a natural outsole thread constructed with Goodyear welt. Emphasizing our refined focus on combining design and utility, the tonally corresponding brass eyelets will further harmonize with the natural leather components and CXL core as these make-ups evolve with wear. The Ridgeway sole provides the tread and temperament suitable for daily wear across all duties.

Fortela

The master of re-creating vintage from his legendary archives, Alessandro Squarzi, is at it again with unique garments that evolve the originals into their most refined forms. In its debut, the Swiss Army Helvetica Shirt is fashioned after the WWII original, featuring an outerwear fit and feel, a double-layer placket, and a two-piece back – indicative of material rationing.

We have a garment-dyed and hand-distressed Aged Canvas cloth version that reflects years of duty, while the Sage Linen cloth was custom-developed with Manteco to achieve a garment dye process on the raw linen for a worn appeal with a drape-forward, heavy-duty weight. This exceptionally crafted reproduction-focused CPO shirt features an Indigo Dyed Canvas that ages beautifully, developing a distinct patina in the daily struggles against the mundane.

De Bonne Facture

De Bonne Facture

Edition 24 arrives on our shores with a palette and feel derived from the Mediterranean landscape and lifestyle, infused into a limited collection crafted by the slow-fashion archetype, De Bonne Facture. Utilizing regional artisan ateliers and always aiming to connect what we wear to how we live, Déborah Sitbon Neuberg has produced another range of simple yet special pieces imbued with spirit.

From the Geography Teacher Jacket, twill dyed in actual coffee for a naturally inspired design, to the Undyed Flax Essential Jacket, the perfect warm-weather blazer that allows you to fit in while standing out, or the Brick Work Canvas Students Jacket, which gives any style rebel a cause to collect. In addition to outerwear that fills wardrobe gaps with unique staples, the Camp Shirt, created from deadstock sheeting that inspired the collection, an Organic Cotton Knit Vest for a French take on Ivy style, and the properly straight-leg Cold Wool Grandad Trouser all refresh those classic fits.

Momotaro

Momotaro

After over a decade as one of Japan's premium selvedge denim producers, Momotaro decided it was time for change and reinvention. Their sourcing of hand-cultivated organic cotton from Zimbabwe, development of exclusive fabrics, and a peach selvedge line to reflect the brand’s folkloric history remain intact. Outside of that, everything in Momotaro’s core line has changed, with adapted fits, construction details, and trims to make selvedge denim more modern.

The newly formulated looming recipe is marginally lighter in weight and uses refined fibers and yarn for the weft and weaving at a subtly lower tension, resulting in a drape-forward selvedge denim. Far more approachable than the workwear requirements standard in our niche, the new core Momotaro is more comfortable straight out of the box, reflected in avant-garde and trouser-styled detailing. Three fabrics debut the #200 Standard Tapered fit, refining the relaxed tapered fit with a more rapidly developing denim that better aligns with the current lifestyle.
