Description

The Goral x Division Road Mellor II is inspired by athletic footwear from the 1960s and '70s, reinterpreted through four generations of shoemaking expertise to create a refined sneaker that balances understated design, handcrafted construction, and everyday utility. This exclusive Division Road collaboration features Pueblo Vachetta leather vegetable-tanned in Italy by the renowned Badalassi Carlo tannery. Produced from carefully selected cow shoulders and tanned using traditional vegetable tannins and bark extracts, Pueblo is a full-aniline, drum-dyed, and hand-stuffed leather finished with Badalassi's proprietary wax blend before being hand-glazed to create a subtly burnished surface. The finish continues to self-burnish through wear, developing exceptional grain character and a rich patina that evolves from matte to semi-gloss over time. Developed as a handcrafted sneaker built to be worn, rebuilt, and worn again, the Mellor II employs a clean two-piece pattern with minimal stitching and blind eyelets to emphasize proportion, material, and versatility. Formed on the G1 Toledo Last, it presents a sleek profile with a rounded almond toe that comfortably accommodates a broad range of foot shapes while maintaining a refined silhouette suitable for dress-to-casual everyday styling. Crafted in Sheffield, England, through more than 200 individual manufacturing steps, each pair reflects the knowledge and precision developed over four generations of shoemaking. Uppers are carefully shaped through a combination of hand and machine-assisted lasting before being assembled using Blake-welted construction through the leather insole and Goral's signature sidewall-stitched outsole. The result is a lightweight, flexible sneaker engineered for exceptional durability and designed to be fully rebuilt by the Goral factory, extending its service life for years to come. This exclusive configuration pairs the sleek black Nero Pueblo upper with Goral's Natural Gum TPS 70 Shore outsole, complemented by a natural leather lining, lightly padded collar and tongue, removable leather insole with a cushioned footbed, and custom Goral x Division Road collaboration branding. With considered configurations, refined proportions, premium materials, and enduring construction, this Goral x DR collaboration represents a contemporary approach to heritage footwear, pairing four generations of shoemaking knowledge with timeless design and rebuildable construction for decades of daily wear.

Collection: Goral

A fourth-generation, family-owned shoemaker whose roots trace to a small workshop founded by Franciszek Goral in Poland in 1936, Goral carries its Eastern European craft heritage forward through Britain's enduring manufacturing tradition. The company creates refined, casual, and lifestyle footwear built for longevity in timeless silhouettes crafted from exceptional materials with repairable construction designed to improve with age. Goral's story is defined by resilience as much as craftsmanship. Through World War II, the Stalinist era, and decades of economic change,...
