Description
The Goral x Division Road Barefoot Apron Boot is inspired by moccasin hunting and workwear footwear in an anatomical design, reinterpreted through four generations of shoemaking expertise to create a refined sneaker that balances understated design, handcrafted construction, and everyday utility. This exclusive Division Road collaboration features a rare batch of Horween® Timber Chromexcel, the original pull-up leather developed from a nearly century-old secret recipe of techniques, materials, and finishes. This leather is known for its flexibility, comfort, and durability. It is single-strike dyed on the grain in mahogany Timber brown, with a natural core that will develop a rich, layered patina. Developed as a handcrafted, lightweight boot built to be worn, rebuilt, and worn again, the Barefoot Apron Boot has a simple two-piece upper with a continuous moc-style apron toe and tongue piece, balanced by a curved backstay and antique brass eyelets, all to emphasize proportion, material, and versatility. Formed on the G7 Barefoot Last, which is anatomically designed with a zero-drop heel, low profile, and broad toe, the Apron Boot comfortably accommodates a wide range of foot shapes while maintaining a refined silhouette suitable for casual everyday styling. Crafted in Sheffield, England, through more than 200 individual manufacturing steps, each pair reflects the knowledge and precision developed over four generations of shoemaking. Uppers are carefully shaped through a combination of hand and machine-assisted lasting before being assembled with Blake-welted construction, with the leather insole and Goral's signature sidewall-stitched outsole. The result is a lightweight, flexible boot engineered for exceptional durability and designed to be fully rebuilt by the Goral factory, extending its service life for years to come. This exclusive configuration pairs the rich brown Timber CXL upper with Goral's Barry Cup Gum outsole made from organic natural latex, complemented by a natural leather lining, lightly padded tongue, removable leather insole with a cushioned footbed, and custom Goral x Division Road collaboration branding. With considered configurations, refined proportions, premium materials, and enduring construction, this Goral x DR collaboration represents a contemporary approach to heritage footwear, pairing four generations of shoemaking knowledge with timeless design and rebuildable construction for decades of daily wear.
