This chino is made from a factory-washed and sun-dried unsanforized 15 oz. Japanese Selvedge Twill, produced exclusively for Samurai on vintage power shuttle looms that run at extremely low speeds and require hand operation. This process yields a lower-tension fabric, featuring a sulfur khaki-dyed warp and weft with thick twisted #6 yarns that have a tough texture reminiscent of vintage chino cloths, along with subtle irregularities that will soften quickly and develop a structured drape and natural fade patterns. Designed in Samurai's Wide Straight fit, this modern interpretation of a classic silhouette is tailored to comfortably suit all body types and to form a personalized fit over time. Assembled in a military-style trouser design, it features slant front pockets, welt back pockets, and a welt coin pocket, all combined with specialty Samurai warrior iconography throughout, including a silver lamé woven selvedge line, a heavy-duty woven jacquard-lined waistband and pocket bags, and a decorative sunrise iron-cast button fly.
