The Momotaro 0306-82IE 16 oz. US Revival Cotton in the Tight Tapered is a mid rise with a moderate seat and thigh that gracefully tapers through the leg to a very narrow hem to yield a modern slim cut for a wide variety of body types. The limited edition 16 oz. US Revival Cotton is a unique iteration that uses long-staple 100% US Grown Cotton spun into slub yarns, rope dyed indigo, and vintage shuttle looming in Japan at low tension. The result is a proprietary denim that's amazingly durable with a structured drape, which will evolve to a comfortable and softer form and deep color saturation with a significant degree of texture that will fade with a vintage character through years of heavy wear. With an indigo dyed warp and natural weft over natural core yarns, commemorated with the brand's "Going to Battle” back pocket stripes uniquely embroidered with indigo dyed thread to evolve with the jeans, this denim will develop shades of blue to vintage white fading patterns with repeated wears and washes. This jean comes with the Momotaro standard peach selvedge line to represent the folkloric story that symbolizes Japan’s rejuvenation of selvedge denim production in their home of Kojima, Okayama and the brand’s reputation of crafting some of the best jeans in the world by always looking to progress within traditional techniques. Finished with premium components and production standards, these jeans boast an embossed natural vegetable tanned leather patch, heavy duty canvas pocket bags with a woven jacquard logo pattern, a zinc steel button fly, embossed copper riveting, hidden back rivets, bartack reinforcement throughout, and a chainstitched waist, seat, and hem. Momotaro runs slightly large, and we suggest sizing down roughly 0-1 size from your Actual Waist Measurement. This denim is sanforized and will stretch 1" in the waist with one month of regular use, and shrink .5" upon first wash.
