The Viberg x Division Road Conceria Antique Oiled Vacchetta 800 Service Boot is an updated version of Viberg’s original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931 and inspired by a standard issue military boot pattern used by several nations during WWII. This exclusive-to-Division Road Service Boot uses a limited batch, vegetable-tanned recipe from Conceria, one of Italy’s most exclusive tanneries specializing in hand-selected and finished European Bovine hides using environmentally friendly processes that maintain the natural properties of the leathers. This leather is cordovan pit-tanned using oak and mimosa bark and vegetable tannins to preserve the unique character of the hides, lightly drum dyed, and hand-oiled to enhance the dark tan coloration that will match any ensemble and condition while developing an unmatched, rich patina. Molded on the Munson-based 2040 Last to provide a modern-classic military silhouette, this boot is fully lined and complemented with a brogue cap toe, coffee eyelets, and an antiqued finished midsole atop a British-made Dainite sole to provide wet and dry traction in an elegant design for a functional heritage throwback. Sizing
Viberg sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers, and the 2040 Last is frequently equal to a Tricker’s or White’s for most feet. Generally, when sizing for Viberg, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance.
