Collaborations with The Workers Club
This week, we have a large restock on some of our favorite collaborations with The Workers Club and new additions that define the best of British outerwear—designed and built to combat crap weather conditions from the countryside to the city street with high style. Time and again we’ve espoused the merit of The Workers Club production approach and their use of articles from the top British wool, cotton, and waxed canvas mills to create considered and functional classics as counteragents to fast fashion and conspicuous consumption.
A re-up of our core arsenal includes the Waxed Field Jackets with a 10 oz. British Millerain Khaki Canvas and the TWC Proprietary Camouflage Dry Waxed Canvas produced by Halley Stevensons. The iconic Shell Parka Jacket—which allows convertibility from country coat to parka with a removable hood and fit adjustments in the waist is back in its rich brown, ultra-dry waxed 8.5 oz. Canvas cloth also made by Halley Stevensons. The Reversible Utility Gilet re-appears in the Brisbane Moss® Corduroy and Twill combination allowing for two different aesthetics and is designed to zip into all of our Field and Shell Jackets for added insulation in harsher climates. In addition to these resolute reissues, we have the Jericho Harrington development debuted last season which blends a Bomber cut with Harrington details for a great every day, all-season jacket. Coming in two different Halley Stevensons materials, a medium weight Khaki Waxed Canvas and a heavier Navy Dry Waxed Herringbone Twill, the Jericho Harrington’s military inspiration is underscored with the quilted and insulated lining.
Finally, we have a restock on our Relaxed Tapered 005 fit developed exclusively for Division Road. This refined, modern iteration of classic denim has a clean cut that will accommodate a wide variety of body types and boasts a medium rise, roomy seat, moderate thigh, perfectly tapered leg, and narrow hem. The 005 uses a fantastic all-season 13.5 oz Kuroki Mills Selvedge Denim that has a consistent high-tension structure in a medium weight, with a silver cast and slight slub to the yarn. This denim is ideal as it has a natural elasticity that conforms and creases to the body through a quick break-in period while providing individualized fades. Whether looking for a raw version to evolve personally or our jumpstarted 2-Year Wash with hand-finished distressed detailing produced by an illustrious wash house in Okayama, from cut to craftsmanship the TWCXDR-005 is sure to become an everyday favorite for the neophyte or the collecting connoisseur of selvedge denim.
