Collaborations and Releases with Dehen 1920, Iron Heart, and Freenote Cloth

This week, we have a collection of spring collabs and curations that will add color and character to your ensembles, referencing queues from the 70s with a Magnum P.I. flavor for laid-back fun and gumshoe adventures. From Dehen, we have a complete assembly representing all categories of primo production, Iron Heart keeps on truckin’ with select shirting, and for a Freenote Cloth follow-up, we have groovy Hawaiians and seasonless Portolas. While the vintage cowboy hipster movement is in full force, grab those quality goods to experiment with all the subtle reference points and keep them in the wardrobe as timeless style material.

Dehen 1920 x Division Road

This collection of collabs and seasonal items from Dehen represents a fresh take on a hallmark style profile popularized during the 1960s-70s. This profile has combined prep, sportswear, workwear, militaria, and various requisitions for decades since. Coming in a palette that ranges from the bold to the staple, each piece is versatile and will channel timeless Ivy League to blue-collar cultural references.

We have a Flyer’s Club Bomber collaboration for outerwear coming in an undyed Natural Martexin Waxed Army Duck we’ve longed to use. The canvas's tonal cotton seed color flecks are accented with the corresponding thread color and brown ribbing to reflect a deconstructed aesthetic accenting dutiful construction in a piece designed to patina. Looking to channel the classic vintage all-star and bleacher bum, we have our Black Brisbane Moss® Corduroy Team Jacket with custom Old Gold and Vintage White striped ribbing and a gloss black snapped front for a slick and cool grab-and-go piece.

The Crissman Overshirt makes a spring-summer showing in a versatile and bold Nautical Red Waxed Canvas and Sky Blue Denim for those seeking unique limited editions of the trustiest outerwear or mid-layer piece in a wardrobe. The Slouchy Cardigan makes its debut featuring a modern-meets-vintage fit uniquely knit in a lower tensioned three-end weight on circular machines from the 30s to provide drape with durability. Finally, a Short Sleeve Drover shirt comes in a fantastic Japanese Canvas with updated detailing, leaning into a military-inspired piece for daily wear in warm weather.

Iron Heart | Freenote Cloth

We bring you two limited, seasonal Iron Heart shirting releases with high-heritage style down at the truck stop from the over-the-top vertical Japanese producer. Begging for dust and dirt, the 13.5 oz. White Denim Western has a pure bleached white warp and weft with the signature triple stitched front and back yoke panels and chainstitched felled seams that amount to a road-ready style piece designed for heavy duty. For some serious workshop class, the 9 oz. Selvedge American Blue Check Flannel Work Shirt takes our favorite indigo rope dyed yarns and selvedge reveal recipe and adds some tweaks with tonally dyed blue buttons and reactive dyed yarns to give a more significant fade-to-colorfast contrast over time.

Freenote channels the Navy veteran now luxuriating in paradise and picking up private eye work on the side, with fashionable heritage goods looking to stroll down to that bash at the beach. The Black and Red Crane Hawaiian camp shirts have an archival, Japanese-inspired motif in Hoffman-printed Rayon with a cooling, silky finish perfect for summer weather styling. The most venerable of many notable fits in the Freenote line-up, the classic-meets-modern relaxed tapered Portola comes in their all-season, exclusive 14.5 oz. Japanese Selvedge Denim produced by Kaihara Mills. Loomed at a higher tension with a consistent yarn geared for quick, high contrast fading while having a flexible and approachable feel, it gives the best of all worlds for your next project, soon to become your daily go-to for years.
