Service Boot - 2030 - Lactae Hevea - Tobacco Janus Calf Suede

$985.00

Description

The Viberg x Division Road Tobacco Janus Calf Suede Service Boot is an updated version of Viberg’s original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931 and inspired by a standard issue military boot pattern used by several nations during WWII. This exclusive-to-Division Road Service Boot uses Janus Calf Suede, regarded as the finest suede in the world, tanned by the storied C.F. Stead. This special recipe uses full-weight calf butts hand-selected for their consistency and tension that are aniline dyed and finished with a finely sanded nap that has an unmatched natural luster and luxuriously soft hand that will perform in the worst of conditions. Molded on the ever-popular 2030 Last, this boot comes unlined with French binding and is complemented with a brogue and pinked cap toe, caramel eyelets, and a natural leather midsole atop the sustainably made, comfortable, and high-traction Lactae Hevea Crepe Sole for a fully functional style piece. With each boot carefully assembled by exacting Viberg craftspeople using stitchdown construction, this piece is perfect for those seeking an easily paired, classic Service Boot taken to the next level of craft and refinement.

Sizing

Viberg sizing is consistent with our old-grade manufacturers, and the 2030 Last is frequently equal to a Tricker’s or White’s for most feet. As a general rule when sizing for Viberg, we suggest you select a half (.5) size down from a common US boot like Red Wing or Alden, or one-and-a-half (1.5) sizes down from a common US sneaker like Nike or New Balance.
